The Wafflers

5pm – 8pm – The Wafflers are a Baltimore based band who, “came about because we love singing harmony with acoustic guitar and bass backing us up”! Their genre consists of Acoustic classic rock and folk. Band Members Jodi Hume, John Lee, Michael Teitelbaum and Mark Levy take the stage for Friday Happy Hour from 5 – 8pm!
I know we post gigs all the time, but this one feels extra special, and a great omen for my 2025 themes for myself.
In my first few years here in Baltimore, I spent quite a number of Sunday afternoons listening to live music at The Cat’s Eye pub.
It’s a bit magic there.
I can’t say why exactly. Maybe it’s the light.
Or the glow of the wood. Or sure, maybe it’s the music.
I don’t have to know why or what makes it that way.
It just … IS.
Whatever it is, it’s the feel, and sounds, and smells, and vibes of why I stayed in Baltimore after college. (ok. maybe NOT smells.)
In the THIRTY years that have passed, many great stories have started, or ended, on the wood-slat floors that surround that tiny raised stage.
And every one of those stories has a killer soundtrack.
And this Friday, my band (The Wafflers)
are playing Cat’s Eye from 5-8pm.
