12pm – 3pm – The Majesties is a versatile indie rock band born in 2022 from Nate Yielding’s desire to cover the last project of David Berman, Purple Mountains. Since then, they have learned much of the music of Berman’s main group, Silver Jews, and have expanded to perform original music, Neil Young, classic country, blues, and folk. They have been invited to play Berman’s bday celebration in New York for the last three years and will be back again next year as well. The Majesties is a powerhouse of virtuosic talent from disparate genres combining to form a beautiful whole. Join us today for a special show celebrating Nate Yielding and Chris Roa’s birthdays.
